I think this is the best show of the winter season. I have watched the first five episodes.
Don't watch the YouTube clips. YouTube will spoil the show for you.

Watch the show.

Even if you don't like Magical Girl shows, this TV show is unlike any other Magical Girl show
that you have ever seen.

Don't read the episode guides, don't read about it on Sankaku, don't wiki it, and don't ask your friends about it.

Just watch it.

The ending song is 'Magia' by Kalafina. The single has already been released in Japan. Song and the ED is so
hauntingly beautiful.

I have watched Freezing, Infinite Stratos, Yumekui Merry, and Gosick, but I have felt Puella Magi Madoka Magica!

Can't say any more than I already have. Experience it yourself.

Agreed! Checked it out last week and it is my favourite so far for this season. Definitely darker than what I expected!

Eighth episode in and the series is still going strong. So hooked on the show, I am counting down the days for each new episode.

Supposedly Japan's main TV watchdog group, claims the show is too cruel for tv. Even though it is late night TV. Idiots.

I'm still blown away by this show. Every episode just gets more heartbreaking for the all the characters and I'm hooked on the development. I just can't wait to see how it ends!

Episode 10 = great. And a little bit disturbing, but that's why I love this show.

Yeah, episode ten. Just finished watching it. Shows Homura in a new light, poor girl.

Spoiler:
Kyubey lied to Madoka in episode nine. All about humanity joining with the 'Kyubeys' in the future. Don't see that happening when the Earth is destroyed by Madoka. Of course, that is humanity's problem, not Kyubey's since he made his quota.

Think the Kyubeys see us as cattle. As long as we serve their purposes, there is no problems. But they really don't care if humanity dies or not.

I think Kyubey is evil, not amoral as some say. I think Kyubey planted the Grief Seed on the hospital. Perhaps Kyubey even creates the Walpurgis Night witch in order to wring the most emotional energy out of the magical girls before they change into witches.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica takes up the top five rankings for Amazon Blu-Ray sales for Volumes 1 thru 5.

Good to see that it is getting good sales. It definitely deserves it.

Yeah, Kyubey is a jerk. Doesn't think twice about manipulating the girls. He was creepy and unsettling from the start; can't trust his beady and unblinking eyes!

Wonder if anyone has seen the first two movies. I haven't yet, noticed that the 3rd movie, with original content will come out sometime this year.

Well, I have my pre-order in, so I should get the two compilation movies at the end of the month. The third movie, which is a true sequel to the TV series, should be in the theaters in Japan this fall.
