How could you possibly know such a fact? Did he scan and show you his flight ticket to you over the few times that he had been to Japan? And take photos of himself entering these events? 'Spring chicken' LOL You crack me up.

ahmyg0ddess,

You're actually quite wrong about Hgurl, and believe it or not, she had good intentions. Unfortunately, you're unable to see that about her, and she wasted her energy on someone like you.

Obviously, you don't know the first thing about collecting or how to spot a bootleg, so please give it a rest.

I live in Tokyo, and have been to ALL those events. In fact, I go to events often. WOOHOO! I guess that makes me pretty damn special to someone like you. I have lived in Tokyo for 9 years straight now, and collectively, I've been in Japan for over 20 years. I have learned and continue to learn a lot from Hgurl. She's a wealth of information, and if she doesn't know something, she knows how to find the answer. That's pretty impressive for someone who knows very little Japanese and doesn't live in Japan. Only someone incredibly clueless would have made your post or claim. Like they say, ignorance is bliss.

Looking at the auction, I couldn't tell if it was or wasn't fake. However, that's really Xzelic's problem because he's losing bids and selling items for $2.75 to people like you. Oh well. For someone who knows more than anyone else, you'd think he'd know how to list a legitimate product. However, I must admit that he has integrity. Sadly for him, you got an awesome deal for $2.75, and then had the nerve to complain. No free gift for late shipping. Are you for real? Again, like they say, ignorance is bliss.

Have you heard of spell check? It's an amazing program. It will check your grammar too. Try it.

Hgurl cares enough about the market that she contacted you. That was bold, but obviously a mistake. I'm sure you're over-exaggerating her message. I know she would not call the seller a crook or scammer, like you told him. Did that make you feel good about yourself? You are obviously immature and frankly ignorant.

If you can't post without belittling people, then please don't post because you only make yourself look like an idiot.

ahmyg0ddess wrote:Great Forum btw .

H-gurl did you bother contacting Xzelic about the item before you opened up your Gob about the items hes selling and about your concerns ?
Im guessing NO... You are definitly a noob and dont really no much more than regular anime collectors do .

In Fact Xzelic who has actually been to japan several times and visited the impotant events and festivals knows way way WAY.. more than you .Your just a spring chicken when it comes to info like this i read a couple of your posts.

I have purchased 3 things from ebay from this seller and i am in Australia and he is in America . Rare Wonder Fes Release of Naru 1/4 scale statue , Giga Pulse figure and Ah my goddess First release movie bundle (12800) yen worth . All of them are authentic and yes they did go low i got the movie bundlke for 2.75 USD i couldnt believe it and HE STILL SENT IT!!

so yeah from now on have the decency to contact the person before you badmouth them over the net at least we know you dont know what your talking about 50 % of the time .

The only advice i can offer ShimizuKyoko is to add more info and use your own pics but i dont blame him for doing what he is doing his reasons sound very valid to me . I bet the people who doubted him are Crapping bricks after seeing his stock pics and i cn tell you they are valid pics .

Keep selling Xzelic this is one customer you will not lose to false comments.

100% authentic 100% trust and you earned it :D

I bet you shes Cut now to see your valid stock photos

Of course I said no such thing to this person.
They only blew it out of proportions.

The message I sent (using my bro's id):

I'm a fellow PVC collector, and I felt I should warn you about the Tamaki Kousaka figure you are bidding on.
The item in question is most likely a bootleg version of this very very rare figure.
More information is here if you'd like to see it:
forums.zero-type.com/viewtopic.php?t=719

Here is what was sent to me:

i have bought from this seller in the past before and my megahouse and musashiya statues/figures are real .
Please do not spread fake rumours about things you do not know .
i have notified this seller

2nd reply after my apology:

I think its time to put a forum about H-Gurl and all the crap she talks about . She/You Fink you know it all like your authentic japanese sellers.
I want you to post a reply on that site saying otherwise . (Wannabe Japs) . I am definitly not alone on this your post pissed alot of my friends of especially Xzelic. Trust me me and Xzelic know more about anime and japan than your little firends 50 times over why not get your info from someone thats actually been there. Oh yeh you dont know nothing about anime figures i saw your feedback you have bought from fake hong kong sellers . Do your homework before you open up your fat Gob ok .

Japs?! How racist can you get!?!?

LOLROFL!! ENF pro is a Hong Kong seller, but the Kotonomiya Yuki my brother got me is certainly 100% real!
Oh, and how does 1 purchase translate to "sellers"?
He's only got 2 fb! LOL

Not all sellers from HK sell fake stuff, this does show how very little you know about the figure market.

I am sorry this is turned into a flame war.
I was just defending myself. Thanks ahmyg0ddess for his support.
I am sure he didn't actually mean those words.

This is a real nice forum and I like all the information gathered here.
Looks like I still have a lot more to learn and this is the place!
I will post daily here /w information I have regarding anime related items.

Very nice. Do you have a greencard?!
My grandfather had a Jewelry store in Osaka and he tried get a greencard, but it is not so easy. he has to renew his visa once in every year to live in Japan. I find that very annoying. :(
Shimizu is his Japanese last name and Kyoko is taken from my grandmother's.

We should get together some time. I am making a plan to visit Japan around September to see the anticipated Pride Light Weight Grand Prix opening round.

None of us thinks you are wrong coming in here to defend yourself, ShimizuKyoko. In fact we find it refreshing for a seller to come out here and show us some proof instead of just coming in and trying to defend themselves just for the sake of say so when they know they are in the wrong.

As for ahmyg0ddess, I am sure he meant that. How could you not meant it when you send someone a reply like that.

Anyway, it's always good to start introducing yourself in the Introductions section. Would be good to have another member to the forum.

Welcome! :hello2:

By greencard, are you referring to the final step before changing citizenship? I don't know what they call it but it's not a green card but something similar to be naturalized. I have a long-term resident Visa with special status.

He renews every year? Really? I renew every 3 years. My current Visa expires in January but at this point, it's very easy to renew. I hope to get a 5 or 7 year next. I have a long-term residential Visa. I'm not even Japanese, but my husband, who is also American, can be traced back on his mother's family tree that's registered in Kyushu. As a result, we were able to legally run a business and stay in Japan on a child of Japanese National Visa. It's an automatic 3 years, and increases as you renew. In your grandfather's case, if he's filing taxes, he should be able to get a long-term Visa by now. Renewing every year is ridiculous. He has a bad lawyer then.

If you like, I can put you in touch with a good Visa lawyer who can help. The person who handles our Visa is a lawyer, who has the authority with the Japanese government to approve the paperwork for our Visa. It's not even reviewed now. It's pretty much a done deal before it's even turned in to the Japanese government for review and approval. I guess he has a special stamp which makes it easy for him.

Is he or your grandmother a Japanese decendent that can be traced to prefecture & family name? If yes, then renewing annually doesn't sound right at all. I can put him in touch with our lawyer, and I know he can help. I mean, if your grandfather has a business in Japan, then he must qualify for a special status because you can't open a business under a normal Visa. If that's true, he should definitely have a minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years at a time.

Sure! Let me know when you'll be in Japan, and we'll see if we can meet up.

Thinking about this more..

Does your grandfather handle his own Visa paperwork upon renewal? If yes, then that's his problem. He needs a lawyer. Someone who understands the law and knows what rules allow a long-term Visa renewal under special circumstances (i.e., no sponsor or gaurantor, US citizen, Japanese decendent, etc.).

I have a friend who refused to pay a lawyer, and he filled out the wrong application upon renewal. They actually showed up at his house, and deported him. He didn't even know he turned in the wrong application until it was too late. Then, they banned him for a year for being in Japan without a valid Visa. To avoid those kind of problems, it's best to use a Visa lawyer because the Japanese government is not forgiving of mistakes.

My grandfather is Korean, but he's lived in Japan for a very long time and has a Japanese name.
He is staying in the US at the moment. He is planning to open a Sushi restaurant in California. :)
He will be back and forth from Japan to US.
I will ask him about the lawyer stuff.

but my husband, who is also American

I thought you're a male.
What was your first impression entering an event?
It's very interesting to meet different people and their opinions.

And, again, I sincerely apologize to you for making an assumption about your auction.
It really is great to see someone with a true authentic of this figure on eBay. ^_^

You were 100% correct in coming and defending yourself.
I would have done the same (if I was a seller).

I do not appreciate the immature and rude comments made by ahmyg0ddess however.
The way he came across was just unnecessary and it solved absolutely nothing!

LOL,

Everyone thinks I'm a guy at first, but I'm definitely female! My name is actually Valerie. I hide behind Val because it's neutral. Keeps people guessing. ;)

What did I first think? Gosh, that's hard... Normally, I'm focused on a plan, and trying to get through the crowd to a table before an item sells out! I probably first thought, "Wow, it's really crowded! There are sooooooooo many people. I'm not going to get anything!" Most people trip out by the various types of people that show but I think I've been in Japan too long because nothing shocks me.

By the way Hgurl kicks so much ass when it comes to knowing her sh*t....calling her a no0b is kinda funny actually.

Being wrong 1 outta 100 times is pretty damn impressive...even though its prob even better than that.
