Seller is in the US and has "Multiple Figures in stock"
Must've done a wholesale from HK....

As he stated, the figure speaks for itself....
it screams "I'm a bootleg!!"

Apart from that, I thought the colour looks pretty decent and it has all the right pose bar the hair.

Maybe you should ask me about the figure instead of posting something you dont apparently know about :) You should see the badass box that MaxFactory sends them in! Duh it was wholesale, but not from HK. Try another country not far from there. Like it reads... multiple in stock because we bought multiple items. We dont sell imported goods that we dont have in immediate stock. Like our auction says... email with any questions. Later!

Sorry, but she's 100% fake!
All of the typical HK bootleg seller have that exact figure (thick hair, wrong eyes and all).

Also, can you explain why Max Factory would release the figure with such a different look from the previous??
The authentic original from their company should look like the photos below.

If the figure does not look like this, then she is a simply a convincing reproduction.
The differences in color and sculpt of your figure against what was originally released is too glaring.

The heavy percent of Japanese shops that sold this figure are out of stock, as the figure is out of production.
I found a grand total of 2 of these on the Japanese auctions!

That's how rare the figure is!

Give me proof that Max Factory sent you that horrible bootleg!
Sorry, but you've been duped, and are selling a fake figure.

crsw, that figure you have is definitely fake.

- The hair is goes down-right in a 45 deg angle.
- colours are way off. yellow is subtle yellow not yellow-orange
- face - her mouth is suppose to be open, eyes are a little off

Here is an up-close comparison...

Now those are some convincing pictures from the japanese auction. Its not the original figure Max Factory released apparently. The japanese auctions supply nice proof. The shipping box that the figures are sent from China is impressive and displays the silouttes of the Girl Fighting Series along with the contact information for MaxFactory, except its in Chinese. The figure has never appeared to look exactly as the factory pictures and thats not uncommon but the proof of the actual figure for sale in box on the auction site does clearly show that this would be either bootleg or not of the original run. Its still pretty sweet either way you look at it if you ask me. Until you take one out of the package and look at it in person, it really cant be truly appreciated. Thanks for supplying the japanese pictures. That will help with the next listing!

You're obiviously a seller with no honor or honesty.
He should be listed as a bootlegger and banned IMO!

As he's aware now that his merch is a fake, yet will use the Japanese photos to lie to customers!

I will make sure to spread your name among the figure collection community :)
Thanks!!

You do that! I'm glad you predict the future and know all of the rest of the products we offer. I'll let Funimation know that the products we get from them are bootlegs. As for your lack of professional information, I plan on going straight to the best source for information about the figure, MaxFactory direct. As I have discussed professional business with them prior, I will inquire about bootlegs of this product. That is going to truely be the best source, potentially they may refer me to their only american distributor and I will be happy to advise you the information as received. Until then you can pass the word that you believe along and we will continue to offer quality products at great prices.

Even if the other items you sell are real, you are still a dishonest seller.
Most customers don't appreciate being lied too.
If you had just did the right thing, then it wouldn't have had to go this way.

Lacking

Postby crsw_hobbies » March 14th, 2007, 3:11 am

You lack proper knowledge of our business, sales, amount of figures sold, questions asked by buyers, and business sense. This being said, thanks for your input.

You lack common sense to conduct honest business. Do not waste our time with this foolish nonsense of yours.

You don't get these figures from Funimation or Max Factory, you said so yourself.

From your website

Compared to Hobby Search, a reputable Japanese Seller.

Can you not clearly see the difference. Don't waste our time, like I said. Leave if you can't be serious.

crsw. That is a bootleg. It not a quality product. No true collector would want it. Your Funimation DVDs are legit. Your other figures looks legit as well as they look like the domestic release. But the Cammy figure is not.

Bigbadtoystore had a bootleg Streetfighter figure before and they immediately pulled it when they were notified. A good honest store would definitely not want their customers get bootlegs.

These bootleggers can make the PVC figure, it's box, holographic stickers, some even add fake distrobution addresses, so of course they can fake-up a lousy cardboard box!

I never said your other figures or merch were fakes, this is about the Cammy figure, and nothing more!
If any others were fakes, they would have been posted in this section. :)

To be continued

Postby crsw_hobbies » March 14th, 2007, 3:50 am

I dont deny that my pics look different. I cant deny there is a very very good chance that the product is not the actual item as the box it is packaged in may claim it to be. That is why I plan on asking the distibutor about the item. There is business pertaining to this product that will need to be addressed if our office agrees that this product is not legitimate. For face value, it appears that this very well could be the case, thus the continued addressing of this item will continue on our side. As again noted, the final decision of our product will be made with the other owners of CRSW Hobbies during normal business hours. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We maintain that we offer quality products and extremely great prices with quality service. We encourage you to check back with our website and auction soon as the item will be addressed in a timely manner. Knowledge is power...Feel free to check for other bootlegs in our inventory!
