figma winter konata I bought might be fake.

hello,

First, I bought figma winter uniform konata on ebay (60.00$ total). why? can't find it anywhere else. I bought it from ''shubeat'' (from japan). On the description he posted for the item, he said it was ''100% authentic''.

if someone has a winter konata, can you provide some pictures so i can compare it to?
and, does anyone know the most common defects for winter konata.

I wish there was a comparison already done onnline but no luck finding one.( and i did do some research on bootlegs recently and found some useful infoormation, but before i finally decide to return this, i need proof and help from someone with some knowledge on this)

So, why do I have my doubts?

1. The figma stand, the branch, is ''blurry''. I also have figma summer konata and its stand is clear.
Can it be a sign of being fake or is the winter figma just old?

2.Going back to the figma stand, 2 of the 3 screws on the stand are rusting. Is this normal (yes, i know it's normal in general)?again, could it be due to the figma being old?

3.The box it came in does have the ''Kadokawa production'' sticker BUT it doesn't have the glittering effect I see on my ''summer konata figma's box'' and also on my ''kagami cosplay box''. I've read that the sticker can be faked as well, or is it because the ''winter konata'' box is from an early version that had stickers that didnt have the glitter effect?

4.the head piece has a slightly different color than the long piece of hair already attached to the figma. Is this norma?

My Lucky star winter Lucky Star figmas have the same foggy looking pole part that yours do. It does seem odd that the screws are rusting but that doesn't mean it's a bootleg. Since you bought them from Japan that is a good sign they are legit. Also, the stickers aren't supposed to be sparkly for the winter ones. Mine are that way too (I bought mine of HLJ).

It is odd that your rubber parts are fading to a pink color though. As I responded to your other post, mine have not had this issue at all.

Oh also there are other sellers selling her a bit cheaper, around $40. Why did you go with the one for $60?

i bought konata for 38$. i pulled out an extra 20$ for EMS shipping, didn't want the box to arrive in ruins. On ebay I couldn't find a seller that was not from china, the only one I found was shubeat (from japan)

I'm thinking about returning because of the dull pink color but I'm not sure. I wont be able to find out myself until I buy another lucky star figma from the winter series, so I guess I'm going to stick with it until then (It's pretty hard to find Konata today).

As for my other post, I don't have the other Lucky star winter figures. I wanted to see if the dull pink color was normal, which is what I'm seeing for the Konata figure I recently bought (I should have re-worded the sentence).

Ofcourse, the colors could be fine but I dont have any of the other figures to compare. I might buy kagami winter next week, but by the time it arrives I won't be able to return konata if it turned out to be a really good bootleg.

She definitely is authentic. Sellers in Japan really never sell bootlegs, you can rest assured with that. Also, I'm not sure where you're seeing the pink? Her skirt looks perfectly fine. I can tell by the way she looks that she is not a bootleg.

Also, the bootleg Lucky star Figma's do not have any sticker at all. Yours does and it's the correct one.

I understand your fear for bootlegs because there are so many out there now a days but your Konata is fine

After this figure came in, I felt the urge to do some research on bootlegs. I'm new to this, so I guess I over analyzed and saw things that weren't there.

toy0japan090 looks like a legit seller.

if you look at his recent feedback, you will see that someone bought konata summer uniform. And it looks like everything came out fine with him.

you can ask for photos or even ask the other member who bought the figma for photos of what he bought (a close-up of the figure and then a photo of every side of the box)

i dont know if i would take the chance but the seller is located in japan and someone else bought a konata summer figma.hmmmmm...

and if it does turn out bootleg, you can always make a case and get your money back.

but because its so cheap, I would save up a little more cash and buy one from amazon ( toylet and proshopjapan are legit--bought figures from them)

That Konata Summer Figma is legit. He says it is authentic in the description which bootleg sellers never say. Plus he's from Japan, 100% feedback, isn't selling any other bootlegs & that's pretty much the right price for that figure ^_^
