Comiket Service closes

Postby Firestorm ZERO » April 21st, 2009, 11:15 am

Just got the email. Seems Comiket Service decided to close up shop (http://www.comiketservice.com/). It had a good range of doujinshi at retail prices with decent shipping prices.

Was just about to post this. Quite a shame too, I enjoyed browsing their inventory from time to time.

Pity, probably a victim of the current economic downturn.
Tokyo Central to Shirow One, we have you at T-minus 4 mins and counting.
Shirow One to Tokyo Central we have a problem.
Tokyo Central to Shirow One, that is affirmative, have Shirow One on hold count.
Please stand by.

Yeah read this on one of the doujin blogs I follow.
Massive shame :(
I guess places like Rinkya and Celga are going to be getting a lot more business.
