Mega list of anime?

Postby MrDisco » November 7th, 2008, 11:33 pm

So I haven't watched anime since the spring and I'm hopelessly out of touch. Is there a list/guide of the anime series that have been shown in the last year? (tall order I know).

edit: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2004
That's exactly what I'm looking for but for the past year

Take a look around the Anime News Network's site. They typically do start of season reviews for each new season in Japan. You will have to hunt around their history to find it. I have used it to get an idea of new things to watch, that may have not appealed to me from the initial premise presentation.
Tokyo Central to Shirow One, we have you at T-minus 4 mins and counting.
Shirow One to Tokyo Central we have a problem.
Tokyo Central to Shirow One, that is affirmative, have Shirow One on hold count.
Please stand by.

If you want to keep track of what anime you watch, as well as check on what's out, you can try this site:

I like to use Anidb.net; its a great resource for fansubs and allows the ability to keep track of what you've downloaded, watched, burned, etc.

They've also got a 'calendar' feature which sorts new anime by month too:
