Is Tokyopop using finer quality paper for their Mangas now?

Postby Syn13 » September 22nd, 2008, 8:59 am

Being that Welcome to the N.H.K being probably the most recent ongoing series I am collecting now, I've just noticed that vol. 8 has finer feeling and actual white paper to it. This is a surprising change but the only bad thing I can notice is that the binding reminds me of Infinity Studio's Blood Alone first edition of Blood Alone volume 1 where it shortly came apart after the second read through. Aside from the change in colour of paper used, they seemed thicker/harder.

Of course I can be wrong since I've been reading stuff from other companies that are recent releases.
