Well...not quite a newbie. I guess I'm a veteran collector. I've been collecting Gundam models since I was 7. 10 years now. Stupidly huge collection.

Recently got into Kidrobot vinyls. Realize their quality really sucks unless you want to pay upwards of 50 dollars a piece for it.

Then I remembered...I love anime. Japanese people makes TONS of this stuff.


A little more than a month ago, I got my hands on a large supply of Japanese anime figures due to a series of unfortunate events, and I started selling them in my family's store and on eBay.
We had 2 1/6 Kasumi figures. And most recently, I sold the black one. Was pretty happy. They were sitting there for 8 months. They looked like quality figures and I sold them for a quality price.

But then, the guy said it was a fake and wanted to refund it...
Never knew they made fakes of these figures...

So, googled a bit. Found this forum.

I buy a lot of figures (mostly Gundam, but recently got more into PVC and vinyl). Was JUST about to buy a L Nendoroid for a ridiculously good price while I was online. 17 bucks for something that usually sells for 36-50? What a steal. Read these forums. Realize that there isn't ONE REAL FIGURE on eBay of it...
