Hi Thar, found this Forum through Google looking for information on bootlegs. (First Figure was a bootleg =/)
I'm part of that small percentage of this forum from Australia
I've been watching Anime for a while and started collecting figures 1-2years ago. I now have a small (10ish) collection of authentic ; ) ... figures from various Anime series.

The community here looks great, and there are lots of very knowledgeable people.
Oh i recently ordered Kureha (Max Factory) and I'm waiting for her arrival =]
I'll be sure to enjoy my stay =) Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome to ZERO-TYPE, it's unfortunate that your first figure was a bootleg but anything within these past 3 years has a good chance of illegal replicates on the market. Same happened to me when I first started collecting and went to my first convention...ugh, that fake Wonder Festival Grimrock Eva set still haunts me til this day...

Anyway, make yourself comfortable, real easy going community here and you got some good taste, MF Kureha, I can't believe she became so rare right after her official release!

I, too, echo Syn13's sentiments regarding bootlegs. I have been able to escape bootleg free, though I did come awfully close to buying a few.

Hopefully we'll see some interesting posts from you in the future. It's hard to miss mine - I'm the guy with the shutterbug!
