Familiar faces...

Hi everybody! Man I see a LOT of familiar faces from the OLD forum that I used to trade Galgrease cards on! A couple of you REALLY helped me complete those sets! (Val, looking at you, ESPECIALLY!)

Sooo, lately I haven't been collecting too much of anything. I've gotten an odd artbook here and there, but that's about it. Went through a little Hyung Tae Kim phase a while back, but haven't seen anything new from him. Haven't really been looking either, though.

I actually used to be a little bit of an artist. And when I say "little", I mean it. I do want to get back into it though, so I was thinking of picking up some new stuff for inspiration. Any suggestions for some cool artbooks? (Did I just open the floodgates, or what!?)

I'm also back into my "book" phase with getting art book and doujinshi.

I would suggest getting those art books with a variety of artists to give you some inspiration.

My suggestions (from memory) are...
poppic - various Korean art. It is like Apple.
pixiv girls collections - can't go wrong with a huge selection of artists from pixiv
Hime-Chara Designers File - HUGE 200+ page book with a different artist every 2 pages.
Graphics - It is mainly vocaloid art. But as you know there is a lot of fan art. Nice variety of styles.
