I wonder what would happen should you ever tire of Saber?

The real question is what would he do if they stopped making Saber statues?!

Been busy the last little while with my new job and all, but I have had the chance to pick up a few things - here are two that I'm currently working on photographing.

Yep... your eyes are not deceiving you. It is that super big Koyori 1/4 PVC from Daiki.

Queen's Blade: Rebellion Mirim - my latest QB acquisition which, sadly, I think will be my last "subsidized" purchase... guess that is what happens when your new company doesn't offer gift certs for filling out surveys.
Plastic... cool, sterile, and oh so pretty!

Here's another one I just picked up from the post office...

+1 for the resin Queen's Blade figures in my collection... this brings the grand total up to two.

Yeah.. it's kind of sad.

I do not think he could fathom the idea.

Neither the manufacturers. Saber/FSN is too big a cash cow for them.

Hey oroboru. Just wondering, where have you been getting your figures. As some are stuff that is out of production like the Koyori one you just posted.

Onegai - It's quite amazing how they keep going with FSN stuff, even though the only media supporting it right now is what, the PSP game? It's also amazing that it feels like EVERYONE (or at least with the Saber Lily statues) makes pretty much the same figures. At least they're good looking ones...

Firestorm - I actually got Koyori in Montreal, from some guy on Craigslist/Kijiji... that's, actually, where a good portion of my stuff comes from. I make it a point to check out those sites for places I visit. Bit of a story behind that one actually, eventually boiling down to me waiting in a parking lot with all my luggage. Failing that, there is basically randomly walking into a comic book store and hoping for the best, though that typically works better in the US.

As Mark knows, most of my best buys are not from within the Toronto area - too many cutthroats running the brick and mortars... even the Craigslist/Kijiji guys can be fairly unreasonable with regards to the stuff they're selling.

It's just a shame so much of the produce is of JUST ONE character, especially since Saber really is quite boring when it comes down to it. Many of the FSN male cast have more interesting personalities. But since they, you know, lack breasts and such they'll never be produced.

It is for adults only. No kidding ;) But a bit overpriced even if it is a bigger size than the Pieces series (it is closer in size to the old Intron Depot 2 and 3)

*sigh*... can't remember my password and the board isn't sending me that email to get it reinitialized.

At any rate, it's been a while since I've had something worth of a "haul"... but, finally, I gots me one!

oroboru, I sent you an email to your hotmail account. Can you try the forgot password again? And I'll merge the oroboru2 account to the original one.

Latest purchase was the Ichiban Kuji CC (the first one) while in JP.
