Tony Taka

Postby asgard » November 11th, 2007, 5:33 am

Recently got into Tony Taka in a BIG way.
Was wondering if anyone had a list (with cover images) of all the stuff he has done?
Also, suggestions as to where I can buy? I can do Yahoo! Japan through a friend, but I don't want to rely solely on that.
Thanks.

Zeb, I think almost all of Tony's doujinshis are adult oriented. Each one usually are H mangas/images of anime such as Fate Stay Night / Bleach / etc. There's quite a long list. Plus on his site, he puts up a new small image on the front page regularly.

You've probably seen the 2 Tony artbooks that I have (Shining Wind and Graphic Art book which I have to respectfully disagree with Val that it's a bootleg - production quality is too high). Obviously you know about the 3 Graph books released in Taiwan (Holy Grail-like for me at this point). I also picked up the Shining Tears Visual Collection which Tony also did the character design. I'll do a review and post pix later.

Thanks K2kevn :)
I guess I want to ensure I am getting my hands on all I can. I don't mind adult orientated books either, just as long as they don't depict children.

I have a fair bit of Tony's work (doujinshi/artbooks), but unfortunately can't say that I know everyone that he's ever released. Maybe we should just start posting book covers, and let people fill in the blanks.

Oh wow! Thankyou so much Speedycat!

Could I ask one tiny favour please? Could you note which of those is an artbook or doujinshi artbook?

Just don't buy his Summer 2007 doujin. At the event, he sold it with a baby bib/towel thing. Pretty sick

That is sick :(
Does the doujinshi itself have questionable content? Cause if I had the chance I'd be pretty torn... bad content would decide it for me in a flash ~_~

I guess it wasn't a bib but it was small enough to be one.

This is the towel (Code Pink is the series):
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r39985242

I only remember seeing the towel w/the little girl on it and an illustration of that girl having sex. Not sure if the Code Pink stuff was sold in stores though, so it may have been event only.

He did sell big boob/normal stuff too though but this is the first time I've seen him make something w/a little girl. I don't think I'm mistaken either. She was definitely a little girl.
