It's on schedule!!

Postby val » January 2nd, 2006, 2:20 pm

Hey everyone,

Happy New Year!

I got to look at Form at the Comiket, or I guess it was the prototype, and it's almost together.

Will release Feb 2006. We'll be offering preorders but that's another story.

Anyway, it's looking good. It's also black.

any word on what the Wani site was saying about Form|Code (i.e. mail-in items, extra prints, etc)?

The page on Wani's site that you asked me about was for preorders made to Wani ONLY. Those orders include a signed/numbered illustration.

Most of the other stuff on that page is nothing really. It states:
(1) PVC Black Case (special method 1)
(2) Black Binder (special method 2)
(3) High quality prints placed in binder (special method 3)
(4) book in book (AFTER SERVICE) (special method 4)
futuregraph A4 Art book 06/2003-02/2006
futuregraph B5 book 06/2001-05/2003
pocket w/design sheets ?
(5) PSE/RM Goods & figures photo catalog (special method 5)

180 pages (grand total between every sheet in collection)
Size B4 - Release Feb 15, 2006

It looks like futurhythm but more stylish and it's black.

so the only difference between wani's edition and the ones sold by retailers is the signature and number?

(1) PVC Black Case (special method 1)
(2) Black Binder (special method 2)
(3) High quality prints placed in binder (special method 3)
(4) book in book (AFTER SERVICE) (special method 4)
futuregraph A4 Art book 06/2003-02/2006
futuregraph B5 book 06/2001-05/2003
pocket w/design sheets ?
(5) PSE/RM Goods & figures photo catalog (special method 5)

are these things that come with the book or are they ads for other products? What does 'after service' and 'special method' mean?

If you look at the page on Wani, you'll see the numbers 1, 2, 3, etc. Each point describes a "special method". It's really not special but more unusual for a book, like the binder, PVC cover, etc.

As for what's an After Service, I don't know. I thought it would be a booklet of "after service" goods, like something you can order after the event, but I think it's actually a booklet of items that have been offered as "after service".

Also, the below should say the following in my above post:
futuregraph A4 Art book 06/2003-02/2006
After Service B5 book 06/2001-05/2003
They are books within the book.

Yeah, the only difference between Wani and a retailer is the signed/number illustration and of course, special service which means free shipping.

Man, the Hubby is going to kill me when I tell him how much this book is going to cost. @_@ At least I'll get nearly a full booklet of stamps at Asahiya when I purchase it. And I only just got a region free dvd player too- and there are so many dvd's I want to order for that.

Thanks for the info clarification Val. I was pretty sure that's what Bablefish was telling me when I translated the page, but I didn't know for 100%. :)
